Tuan Chau Island, Ha Long tours
The original area was 400 ha and 2 km far from mainland. In the past, local residents had to row the small bamboo boat to mainland. Tuan Chau name is combined between Linh Tuan & Tri Chau. In the Le dynasty government arranged the watchtower here. Because of having the natural beatiful landscape, the high ranking leaders of state had been coming here for rest. Uncle Ho came here few times and in 1958, he said his willing to see Tuan Chau become Ngoc Chau (Pearl Island – mean the developing of island). Nowadays, that dream is coming true
